Summary
SafeBook set out to launch their AI-powered accounting platform with impact. Their goal was to generate excitement across TechCrunch, Hacker News, and Product Hunt while presenting a strong, investor-ready image that would drive early sign-ups.
We created a one-minute CGI commercial built in Unreal Engine 5, blending cinematic 3D environments with SafeBook’s real UI assets. Together, we shaped the narrative, visualized key features like AI automation and dashboards, and delivered a polished launch film designed for credibility and hype.
The film gave SafeBook its first high-end product visualization. The founder and marketing lead were excited with the result, and the brand now has a launch asset that matches the sophistication of its technology.

Context
SafeBook.ai is an AI-powered accounting platform based in NYC with a bold mission: make bookkeeping intelligent, real-time, and actually useful for founders. Their platform categorizes transactions automatically, generates dashboards on demand, and lets users pull investor-ready visuals through a chatbot. The platform caters to startups, operators, and finance teams seeking immediate clarity.
Before this project, SafeBook had powerful technology but no cinematic way to show it. The product worked. The vision was strong. But there was no visual asset that communicated that ambition to investors or early adopters.

Challenge
The team was preparing for launch visibility on TechCrunch, Hacker News, and Product Hunt. They needed a one-minute hype film that felt premium, modern, and credible. The goal was clear: impress investors and drive sign-ups.
Accounting software often feels dry. SafeBook wanted the opposite. The challenge was to present automation, categorization, and dashboards in a way that felt intuitive, high-tech, and exciting.

Approach
We collaborated closely with the SafeBook team over four weeks. We kicked off with storyboarding workshops, defined the narrative arc, and mapped how each feature would be visualized cinematically. Weekly reviews and a shared Notion workspace kept everything transparent and aligned.
Creatively, we leaned into a polished tech aesthetic inspired by high-profile product campaigns. Smooth motion, vibrant lighting, and clean UI integration helped position SafeBook as forward-thinking and confident.

Execution
The final piece was a one-minute CGI commercial built entirely in Unreal Engine 5. It opened in a modern financial workspace, grounding the viewer in a real-world scenario before introducing the solution. We integrated SafeBook’s UI assets directly into cinematic 3D environments for a seamless blend of physical and digital.
Using Unreal’s real-time rendering, advanced lighting, and Sequencer tools, we crafted smooth match cuts and flowing camera movements. The film closed with a branded hero moment: the SafeBook logo on screen, followed by the landing page reveal and the line “Superior accounting powered by AI,” ending with a clear call to action.
Impact
Before this project, SafeBook had no visual identity for their product in motion. This film became their first high-end representation of how the platform feels, not just how it functions.
The founder and marketing lead loved the outcome. More importantly, they now had a launch asset worthy of investor conversations and public tech platforms. The product finally looked as advanced as it truly is.
